DID YOU KNOW!?! If you are the parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or guardian of an elementary student that attends Altoona-Midway Elementary you are already a member of the PTO. There are no fees or dues associated with the PTO group. If you would like to have a voice about things happening at the elementary or things you would like to see the PTO involved in, join us at our meetings.
The Altoona-Midway Elementary PTO will host a cookout on the night of open house, Tuesday Aug 21st, at the elementary school. The meal will consist of grilled hotdogs, chips, water, and a cookie. The meal is free to all the elementary students and their families that attend the open house.
The next meeting of the A.M.E.S. PTO will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012. The meeting will be held at 6:00pm in the elementary library.
The PTO is trying something new for this year; we will have a Fall Festival instead of a Spring Carnival. This year’s theme is “An Old Fashioned Fall Festival”. We’ll be having a meal followed by games. Please mark your calendar for Saturday, November 10th. Watch your child’s backpack for further details.
