Middle school is a time of discovery for students, as they move from childhood into adolescence, and Altoona-Midway Middle School provides a safe, supportive environment to guide them every step of the way.
Our teaching staff blends new and veteran teachers in a team dedicated to each student’s success. The low student-to-teacher ratio means plenty of individual attention in the classroom. And, our courses are varied, offering students the chance to learn about themselves and their interests, while they master the core skills they need to succeed in high school and beyond.
There’s never a fee for any of our classes or extracurricular activities, because we want students to participate and get the most out of their middle school days!
